Pibbs 514 Kwik Dri Drye best hair dryer

Let me start by saying that I am doing this review because, like you, I was put back by the price tag, at first anyway. This concern went straight out of the window after some research and here is why:

I am a woman with big and thick hair and I used to go to the salon a couple times a month to get a wash and set. I realized this hair dryer costs the same as 2 months of trips to the salon!
Also, I would usually take 1,5-2 hours at the salon waiting for my turn, getting washed and drying my hair.
I take an hour, maybe, with this thing at home. I can now choose to wash my hair before work and not have to set my alarm at 3pm haha.
This advantage is not limited to working days of course. For any social event I can easily wash and set my own hair without having to take a trip to the salon and paying a small fortune.

Since my hair takes only 45mins to dry now, I am so more flexible and the results are on par with the salon. I can't believe I spend all this salon money over the years. I am glad I discovered this hair dryer.

Now for the technicalities:
This hair dryer get evenly hot but not too hot too fast. It was easy to set up (even for me with my two left hands!) and easy to break down if needed.
The heat somehow gets trapped in the hood and I think this is why it dries my hair so evenly.
Also, the arm, with the hood on it, is easily adjusted to fit any chair setup probably. I just use it with my lounge chair while I watch tv. You can also roll it around the house if you need to.
I guess this is about all I can say about this hair dryer. I am in love with it.
Just a little math: I used to spend around 120-150 per month in the salon. In a little over 2 month this hair dryer already paid itself back. I seriously have to recommend it since it really is the best hair dryer I have ever owned.
